Description du poste
We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee the pre-sales activities with a strong client orientation and innovative thinking.
You will be responsible for:
• Supporting the different Regional Sales Managers for technical design.
• Specializing in communicating product features and corresponding benefits as well as application of the product to a specific market and / or account.
• Assist customers with planning, engineering and drafting technical requirements.
• Preparing, coordinating and conducting successful presentations and demos.
• Writing the scope of work for demos and field trials.
• Ensuring customer’s technical expectations meet the product’s capability.
• Reviewing and providing content and polish to RFx proposal responses.
• Providing the technical section in RFP/RFQs.
• Ensuring responses include network diagram applications, technical benefit statements, and overall technical accuracy.
• Providing business information about the solutions (post sales consultancy).
• Collecting and building competitive analysis and product comparison feedback.
• Providing feedback on market trends, customer requirements and market intelligence to the products managers and management.
• Ensuring proper reporting to the manager: weekly reports, detailed trip reports etc.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential
• Engineering or Master’s degree in IT/Telecommunications
• Strong experience in the Telecom field in Emerging Markets as Presales, Product manager or Project manager.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English and French.
• Able to travel anywhere within Africa including but not limited to Mali, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.
• Strong client orientation, able to provide appropriate solutions and services.
• Takes on innovation and new approaches and innovative thinking.
• Proactively identifies solutions for customers.
• Ability to manage complexities and resolve problems.
• Comfortable being part of a team and working with several stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Proven cross-cultural communication, able to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
• Ability to be autonomous and work with a remote team
• The ability to travel 20-30% of time.
• Location = Abidjan (Ivory Coast)
Desirable
• Existing relationships with Mobile Network Operators in Africa.
• Knowledge of USSD, VAS.
• Good Knowledge of Mobile Financial Services in Emerging Markets.
