ALCATEL-LUCENT  is recruiting  3G/4G TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER - OCI-15000005SI Description Based in Abidjan, the 3G/4G TPM will manage the implementation of all the technical aspects of the Orange Cote d'Ivoire Project, in terms of feature content, delivery date and quality of the technical solution, from offer preparation through deployment activities and customer acceptance.  He will plan, organize and pilot the OCI Technical Project in the framework of the Contract Implementation Process (CIP); coordinate the technical support activities involving other ALU departments. He will be the customer prime interface for all the 3G and 4G technical aspects of the ALU solution and manage the day-to-day relationship with the customer.  The TPM will work closely with the Solutions Architect to insure delivery of the solution. He will be also an active contributor of Alcatel-Lucent products/solution introduction, evolution and roadmap. Responsibilities : Supports LTPM in defining integration strategy & coordinates involvement of integration teams for 3G and 4G aspects Identifies deliverables under his responsibility. Plans & executes these deliverables taking care of cost & milestones Is prime interface with customer Technical Managers for all technical concerns. Understands the customers' strategy and manages his technical expectations Follows up KPIs of the operator's network in order to ensure the optimized usage of the deployed solution Is in charge of identifying risks for both customer and Alcatel Lucent Proposes & implements risk mitigation plan Identifies and analyses customer needs and advises them on solution / technology / products that are the best fit. Supports offer development. Provides feed back to R&D/PLM teams regarding features & performances needed Is responsible to propose PM a migration strategy & plan of execution Defines and executes upgrades & retrofit strategies Is in charge of the coordination with new product introduction teams for First Off applicable in their projects Is in charge to build and manage the customer network configuration (HW & SW) Competencies : Experienced TPM background Adaptability Managing Others Communication Consulting & Customer Business Support Customer Support Network Operations Network Planning & Optimization Planning & Execution Problem Solving Procurement & Subcontractors Quality & Knowledge Risk Management Qualifications The Ideal Candidate for this TPM Role has developed a good knowledge in the following techniques and tools : Alcatel-Lucent Project Management processes (basics) : he is able to educate self and uses the internal project management methodologies and capabilities, i.e. Risk Assessment and Management, Supply Chain procedures etc. and promotes existing methods into the team. Knowledge in 3G and 4G RAN Technologies from Alcatel-Lucent portfolio : TPM has a deep experience (as required) in products designed and manufactured by BD/BU Knowledge of the solution integration process :testing, validation, acceptance of products.
